About
I believe God designed every person to flourish — physically, spiritually, and relationally. Not in pieces. Not in isolation. Whole.
That conviction is the thread through everything I do.
I grow and teach about medicinal herbs because the earth reflects God's design for our restoration — and because our bodies matter to the God who made them. I've built businesses with my hands, grown plants, made products from what the land gives, and learned to read the seasons.
I walk alongside people in mental health and addiction recovery because restoration happens in the light, not in hiding — and no one was meant to find their way back alone. That work is quiet, careful, and one of the most important things I do.
I work with business owners because work is meant to flow from who we actually are, not bury us beneath who we're pretending to be. My advisory practice, Practiced Path Advisory, sits across from small business owners and tells them the truth — about what's working, what isn't, and what it would take to build something worth owning.
And I write about the spiritual life in Christ because I believe we were made to live fully known — by God and by one another — with nothing left to cover up. That writing lives here on this site. The Undressing is the longer work in progress — a book that grows out of the same conviction, one honest page at a time.
I live and work in Afton, Iowa with my husband Blake. We farm together, grow medicinal herbs together, and build things with our hands. That groundedness in place and season shapes everything else.
God designed us whole. That's what I'm working toward — in the garden, in the boardroom, in recovery, and in the soul.
